
Kannapolis, NC Chapter of the GPAA (Formerly Matthews, NC chapter) was established in mid-2007 by a diverse group of outdoor enthusiasts. Our membership exemplifies both men and women; the young and the young at heart; singles and families. Despite a wide array of occupations and backgrounds our members share a common thread: we really like to dig in! We enjoy sharing leisure time with one another during our scheduled monthly outings. After all, our primary "gold" is to have fun! Seeking adventure is only part of our explorations. Our members concur that Carolina's great outdoors is a welcome relief to the daily 9 to 5+ routine. It is true that we often find gold, but more importantly, new-found friends become real gems. Join us......come play in the dirt!
